The DÉFI is a fun contest in French between several Alliances Françaises that offer their learners the opportunity to meet virtually and challenge each other around issues related to Francophone cultures and the French language.
As part of the Francophonie Summit, this year’s focus will be on Francophone cultures.
The competition is free and open to all learners of the participating AFs, this year exceptionally from 18 years old so that the winners can travel to Paris for the international final.
Since the previous edition, the DÉFI has been open to learners from level A2 – questions are written accordingly – which has significantly expanded the audience reached.
The local selections will take place on Wednesday the 8th of May at 6.00pm at the Alliance Française de Colombo.
