- 👋 Alliance Francaise students, it’s time to shine in the spotlight while practicing your French! From January 2024 to the end of April, theatre workshops will be held every Wednesday from 12.00 to 1.00 pm.

Ateliers Théâtre en français / Theatre Workshop in French
🎭Are you a budding actor between the ages of 7-12? Get your best lines ready. We have got a surprise for you!
🧑🎤From January 7, 2025, you’ll be able to showcase your talent during the “Ateliers Théâtre en français” (Theatre Workshop in French), which will take place regularly on Tuesdays from 4.30 to 6.00 pm, at the Alliance Française de Colombo.
🪭For 1.5 hours, volunteers from “La Récréation” association will assist you as you take your first steps in drama and practice the French language in a fun and dynamic way!
🪇From January to July 2025, the drama workshops will be divided into 3 thematic modules of 4 sessions each. The modules will cover emotions, improvisation, and comedy. The fee is 4,000 LKR per module.

thématiques comprenant 4 séances chacun. Au programme des modules figureront les émotions, l’improvisation et les scènes comiques. Le tarif pour chaque module est fixé à

Agenda 14 | Short Film Festival
📽️Agenda 14 Short Film Festival was launched in 2011 to promote the work of young filmmakers in Sri Lanka. Every year Agenda 14 acknowledges the work of talented young men and women under several categories. During the last decade this festival has grown into a fully fledged film festival awarding Best Short Film, Jury Prize, Most Gender Sensitive Film, the Sunila Abeysekera Memorial Human Rights Prize, Best Animated Short Film, Green Award for films on environmental themes and acknowledging outstanding performances, screenplays, editing and cinematography. The festival recognizes the next generation of filmmakers by presenting the Award for the Most Promising Filmmaker to a contestant under 24 years of age.
