Individual Lessons And Mini Groups

Personalised individual lessons can be organised for adults, teenagers, children at all levels of proficiency. Lessons may be taken one-on-one or in groups of two to three.

Choose to learn on-site at Alliance Française or office, or online.
For classes not held at the Alliance Française campus, extra fees may apply.

Among our very popular courses, we propose general French, conversation workshops, French for business, preparation of DELF-DALF, TEF, London and National O.L., A.L., etc.

The course content can be determined according to student’s requirements.
Minimum duration for on-site lessons (at AF or outside AF premises) : 2 hours per class.

Placement Tests

by Courses

If you have studied French before joining the Alliance Française, a placement test guarantees that you will start your course at the appropriate French level. You will therefore not lose any of your valuable language training time. Any prospective student, who is not a complete beginner, is required to take a placement test to determine the current French level. (This does not apply to individual lessons.)

  1. Our online or on-site test will assess your reading and writing and grammar skills (60 min)
  2. A Zoom or face-to-face interview will assess your listening and speaking skills (10 min)

Placement test days:

Online: Fridays, September 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd.
Onsite: Saturdays, September 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd. 

  • Online paper: 09:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
  • Zoom interview: 10. 40 a.m. onwards, as per the personalized email sent to the candidate.
  • On-site paper: 09:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
  • Orals: 11:15 a.m. onwards, as per the personalized email sent to the candidate.
    *You will receive your personalized email the day before your test.

Placement test fee: Rs.1,800/-.
